Interesting opalised fossil specimen from Coober Pedy (South Australia) – Cretacous time (110 – 140 million years ago).
One Belemnite (opalised squid) is exposed and shows a dark colour. Length 69mm, diameter 13.5mm. Two others are hidden in the sandstone. Specimen 70 x 60 x 34mm. Weight 77grams.
